Eaten share
The sticker is for the whole bag. The cost that counts is the part you eat.
Enter the sticker price, how much you bought, and how much was eaten, in the same unit. The page shows the eaten dollars, what was left behind, and both per-unit figures. No account. The answer stays on this page. This does not say the food should have been finished.
Not nutrition advice. Not a store price.
The part you eat
The sticker is for the whole bag. The cost that counts is the part you eat. Leaving food is not a grade.

How this is calculated
Eaten dollars = price × (eaten ÷ bought), rounded to the cent. Left behind = price − eaten dollars. Price per bought unit = price ÷ bought. Cost per eaten unit = price ÷ eaten. Both fields use the one unit you pick. Nothing is converted.
Sources
This uses only the numbers you type.
Assumptions
- The eaten amount is the part you want counted, in the same unit as the amount bought.
- This does not say the food should have been finished.
- Example bags are made up and are not store prices.
What happens to these numbers
What you type is used only to calculate this page. It is not saved and not sent. Refreshing clears it.
Limits
This is not nutrition advice, a diet score, or a store price check. It is not financial advice.
A pass for the whole site
The answer above is free. You do not pay to see it. An optional pass would cover the whole site, pay what you can, instead of a separate charge to save this one result.
What the pass is for
- A letter you can use to dispute a medical bill
- A checklist for a state heating-aid application
- A pack of scripts for canceling a subscription
