Housing
See the whole month, not just the rent
Hallway total
Rent is the front door. The rest of the month is the hallway.
Start with rent. Add other monthly amounts you pay with the place. The page shows the month, the year, and each line’s share. No account. The answer stays on this page. This is not legal advice, not a fair-rent promise, and not a lease review.
Not legal advice. Not a fair-rent promise.
The hallway
Rent is the front door. The rest of the month is the hallway. Amounts are whatever you type.

How this is calculated
Monthly total = the sum of the lines you enter. Yearly = 12 × that monthly total. Each share is the line divided by the monthly total. Amounts are already in cents, so the year lands on a cent.
Sources
This uses only the numbers you type.
Assumptions
- The lines are monthly amounts you choose to count with the place.
- A line you leave off is not in the total.
- Example lists are made up and are not listings or leases.
What happens to these numbers
What you type is used only to calculate this page. It is not saved and not sent. Refreshing clears it.
Limits
Not legal advice. Not a fair-rent promise. Not a lease review. It does not look up a market rent or a local rule. It is not financial advice.
A pass for the whole site
The answer above is free. You do not pay to see it. An optional pass would cover the whole site, pay what you can, instead of a separate charge to save this one result.
What the pass is for
- A letter you can use to dispute a medical bill
- A checklist for a state heating-aid application
- A pack of scripts for canceling a subscription
